Once upon a time there was a boy who is not so little anymore. In kindergarten he built a roller coaster from K-Nex. Today, as a fourth grader, he built a cool "beehive" using Contraptions.

A Long, Long Time Ago
A long, long time ago a group of first graders built the "tallest marble run EVER." Those first graders grew-up and are now fifth graders. One from the old group and a few new kids built the new "tallest marble run EVER." I enjoy watching the drop-ins at moments like this!

A Special Visitor
We were graced with the presence of Hootie the Owl during open lab the other day. Hootie is Mrs. Davis' special friend who often talks to her and lets her know what is going on around her classroom! I think Hootie and his special friend had a blast making patterns with Puzzelations!
The Roman Empire
I have an awesome group of third graders studying Ancient Rome. Here
they are working diligently on making timeline pockets to help keep all
their facts straight!

More Plexers!
The fourth graders in Language Arts Acceleration made Plexers the other day! This was supposed to be our warm-up, but they were so in the groove that we kept going and going and going! Twenty Plexers later (and two blog posts) we had to stop!
Can you figure them out? They are based on common sayings or phrases! May I suggest checking out numbers 8 and 14 (both in the previous post) to get started. My personal favorites? Six (previous post) and sixteen!
